Blam a muthafucka

That guy had candy cane colored blood. That's just fucking creepy.

Short, pointless, cheap animation. The loader was the best part, but of course, you didn't make that, did you...

D

numbers responds:

It was the edited NG preloader.

It wasn't pointless, wait, yes it was. It wasn't short, that was a minute long, nigga! As for cheap animation. NIGGA, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK 'CAUSE I CAN HIT A MUTHAFUCKA.

You can't do that, can you...

14 Year Old Girls

Sounds like the band "14 Year Old Girls" This your music?

D

Half Full

It's a pity you got bored with it because it's really good. You need to finish it! Finish and speed up a few of the parts, can't think of what specifically since i'm watching TV as well and it is very distracting.................................

yes, anyways, if you want me to tell you which spots, just say so, i'll let you know.

D

Masso responds:

Glad you thought it was good. :)

I don't know what you mean by spots... But ok...

A suggestion...

You should send the band a copy - bands like that. I'm sure they'd love it and wouldn't sue even if they HAD the money!

hahaha

Great first submission!

Preloader is really easy. There's a link to get the newgrounds one when you submit a flash - go there, get it, and stick it in your animation as a new scene (you have to move the scene to the top of the scene list to make it play before your movie... just in case you haven't used scenes as well as the preloaders!)

There's alot of good animation here - the speedy movement is very smooth, the fps is decent, and the timing is for the most part excellent! some of the snakey line stuff didn't seem to match quite right, but hell, there's so many beats going on at the same time, you never really know what beat YOU are following (at those times).

I liked the band alot - which makes me think of ONE THING that could improve the whole thing alot - BACKGROUNDS! For the one background i impressed myself the most with, i used a program called ARTRAGE, and it's designed for pen tablets (which it LOOKS like you might have, but works great with just a mouse as well) It mimics real art mediums, is fun to mess around with, and makes it easy to paint a big nice background in not too much time. Of course, this means going back and filling things in so that the background doesn't show through (which would have been nice in the fine art stick figure playground scenes, but then again, you can only really fill in the head, adn that would look awkward, so maybe you just need to draw a small real little person) but it's time well spent in the end.

Good stuff - keep it up!

Poor little sugar baby

YOU MISSPELLED 'POUR'!!!

Not that i think you may not have done it on purpose, but it bothered the crap out of me.

The beginning was great and funny - the shoot-out was really wierd, but the end was good. Good work! Keep it up! (use spell check!)

Most recent version of critiqueing

Since i read your reply to the last comment, i think that you possibly have actually tried to make this movie, and that something just went terribly wrong. You might want to check your version check actionscript, or make sure YOU have the latest versions yourself!

The thumbnail made me think that maybe this would be really cool, so i hope it works in the re-submit!

D

xtil responds:

Yeah, I guess i'll have to resubmit, no one seems to be able to see it. I can though, and some of my friends I sent it to said the same. I hope they weren't being lying jerks. >:(

Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Heads

Where are their heads? The gore was fine, the timing was good, the animation was short and the heads were missing. Where are they??
D

Sheepie responds:

It's a style! besides, heads are overatted anyway...

Superb Sprite Stuff

Damn good - especially for just 'messing around' - you outdid most of the sprite submissions i've seen here.

Two things though:

1. The transition from Rob Zombie's song to ... the next song (?) was very rough. I'd recommend getting a program like Audacity (free) and creating a transition effect. Yeah, i know, more work, but you said it was really easy to make this, so you MUST have more time on your hands.

THINKING OF WHICH:

2. Pixel art. Take the sprite, edit it. For the floaty scenes, make their feet point down, no? So they're not 'standing' on air? just select the little pixels, move them so they point down, then take the 1 px pencil tool (on whatever editor) and the eyedropper, and fill in the space that was created (where the rest of the foot should be). Otherwise, i think you did an awesome job of melding pixel art (sprite art) and normal computer generated graphics.

Awesome shit - keep it up!

Wa Kie Tal Kieeee

haha... great stuff - i was so mad at the "to be continued..." i definately want to see where this goes.

Only thing i could really recommend is some really quiet background music for the whole thing, really - dry dialogue bits could really use it!

Good animation, though - nice job on blurring the far away things (not enough people do that)

Keep up the good work!
