As with the review before me, i agree that the beginning was excellent but the last part was ... not so.

For me it probably would have been bearable if only your sounds had lined up with the images in the philosophical discussion.

Again, great idea - but you should have gone with the style of the first bit for the discussion and recorded real voices instead of relying on the CC stereotypical bs or at least went and edited the voices with Audacity or something.

Good idea, i even voted to save it, but work on the execution.

Thanks for making an effort to stray from the typical boundaries of your comrades.

I got my hopes up...

I got my hopes up for this one - the preview image looked promising so i was all ready for something great.

AND YOU DELIVERED!

That WAS, in fact, great. Yes, sounds need some work, but don't they always? Excellent style, flow, fbf + tween action - only part that was gag-me-cheesy was the cupid turning around in the beginning. haha - c'mon, you know you want to fbf that!

Ah well, excellent flash - thank you for not sucking!

Bueno!

good fbf action! A tiny suggestion - the lines were all too bold - try using a thick line for the outline of a figure and a line 1/2 that size for definition within them. For animating, probably the easiest way to do that would be to draw them out with the 1/2 size line then go back and trace around them on a separate layer with the regular line. Also, take some more time out with backgrounds - it's worth it!

But otherwise you've got a good cinematic eye! Keep it up!

i'll def spend more time on the backgrounds, the real issue with this cartoon is that the characters and backgrounds aren't too different in their designs. I am also going to start using thinner lines, since a lot of people dont seem to enjoy the thick lines...and its more difficult to do subtitle animation..

Anyways - i didn't feel there was enough difference between the voices. Though i can't be totally sure if you did both of them, it sure sounded like it. Well that or a close relative, maybe?

I liked the style, though - animation was smooth - plot was a little lacking at times but altogether a good idea. Funny (a bit)

Best flash with no voices whatsoever. The Robin hood part kind of dragged on and maybe you should have undertaken the rest of the story with it too, but really was a good flash - flow'd well.

You did alot with a little and that's damn good. BTW - whose cover of "Telegram Sam" was that? (needs credits!)

Pretty good!

You have a good grasp on cinematic flow - it kept me going, wasn't too slow or too fast - each scene worked well with the next and there weren't any big unpleasant surprises.

Now:
He walks funny... with his arms behind him. haha.

Arms arms arms - maybe you should have frame-by-frame animated them next time - sure, that may be another week of work for you, but it's worth it in the end to put out a superior flash!

Christine looks very... dead... and rugged... haha

Loved the characters - the voice acting was pretty good - recording quality wasn't the best, but not many people can get a recording in their homes.

The chair! haha - totally disappeared on his ass.

Tip for the wacom - alot of times it's hard to draw a straight line. yep. I know. Well, i use the line tool for those times, and if it just looks like it doesn't flow with the rest BECAUSE it's so straight i'll go over the line with the brush tool.

Oh, and a question - do you get random little blobs when you're using the brush tool with pressure sensitivity?? I get those alot and they're a pain in my ass - still haven't figured out how to fix them.

Good flash - keep it up!

xD Yeah - the pressure stuff annoys the 'ass' offa me too! So that's why i find it takes so long. And yeah - i agree i could of updated the arms, but i got a bit lazy and rushed to finish it xD. Glad you liked it though - it makes it all worth while!
To change the sensetivity... you may have to go on to tablet settings and search for a while - im not sure if i will change it though xD

Now, the title - Porch Munchies - used completely as a racial slur. Sure, yeah, good movie that brought it to everyone's attention, but that doesn't make it 'ok' when you're pullin' it out to directly refer to black people - especially when you're portraying them in a stereotypical fashion. Now, i could give a shit less whether you're racist or not, but i'm just letting you know how it looks - you'll be lucky if it doesn't get reported, but personally i think that it wasn't with harmful intent so i'm not gonna blow the whistle on you.

Yea I know, its a very controversial title, BUT. The whole point os stoner bob is to poke fun at all types of people and what the world views them as steriotypically. I mean stoenr bob for instance, completly stereotypical stoner, bubbles the bong is a stereotypical uptight brit (and im british) and all the toher characters are going to be pretty much racial targeted. But thats what makes stoenr bob so great, you take all these different type of people and put em together, they are all characters. Alot of people like Dave Chappelle who does the same thing, such as his skit with the family called "the nigger family" Which i found extremly funny so I mean if people get offended then they are viewing it in a wrong reference. I'm just trying to make an entertaining flash :D
